We’re less than 50 days from the September 15th Democratic Primary, and I’m still working hard to meet as many residents of our district as I can before early voting starts on September 2nd.

That means we’re in the home stretch, and schedules for candidates have never been more full.

I’m excited to announce that on Tuesday, August 11th, I’ll be at the Hindu Temple of Delaware for a meet and greet with members of the Temple community and residents of the third district.

The event is open to all who might like to join and learn more about me, my vision for New Castle County, and how they can support me in the race over the final month of the primary and into the general election.

I’m also looking forward to hearing concerns from those in attendance and learning how I can help meet the needs of the community.

I’ve got a long history with the Hindu Temple of Delaware, going back to my years with The News Journal and covering events there annually. I’ve also made more than a few visits with elected officials, and to join members of the Temple community to celebrate holidays and local events. Any chance I get to go back is one I’m looking forward to.

I hope to see you there on August 11th and on the campaign trail as I continue my door-knocking adventure through the district.
