New Castle County’s Third District is home to over 12,000 registered Democrats, and I want to spread the word about our campaign to as many of them as possible.

The best way to do that is bringing our campaign directly to them!

That’s why I’m knocking on as many doors as I can between now and the September 15th Democratic Primary.

Since the weather finally broke in April, I’ve been knocking on doors nearly every weekend, introducing myself and my vision for our County to as many voters as possible.

But if I’m going to reach everyone over the final three months before the primary, I need your help.

Starting on Sunday, we’re launching regular canvass events with volunteers every weekend to canvass different parts of the Third District. You can sign up to join us and pick the shift, or shifts, that work for you in June now!

Don’t worry, even if you’ve never knocked doors for a candidate before, we’ll train you before we set you loose on a neighborhood.

Door knocking is my favorite part of campaigning.

I appreciate hearing directly from our residents what matters to them, and sharing my vision for our district, and how I plan to bring real change to County Council.

If you’d like to support the campaign by joining our canvass crew, sign up now! We’re planning to canvass on the following dates:

June 7th from 11am to 3pm
June 13th from 10am to 1pm
June 14th from 2pm to 6pm
June 20th from 2pm to 6pm
June 21st from 2pm to 6pm
June 27th from 2pm to 6pm
June 28th from 2pm to 6pm

Dates and times may be subject to change if the weather takes a turn for the worse. We’ll keep all volunteers updated on changes.

I want to share a reminder that our first debate is Monday, June 15th from 7-9pm at the Hockessin Memorial Fire Hall. RSVP and let us know you’ll be there to see firsthand what sets our campaign apart.

And, if you want to show your neighbors who you’re supporting in the election this Fall, you can request a yard sign and we’ll drop it off.

I’m looking forward to knocking on your door soon, but I hope you’ll join me in knocking on some others before I get there.
