You may know me as a photojournalist, as a member of the National Press Photographers Association’s leadership team, as a communications officer with the New Castle County Government, as a soccer coach, as neighbor, or as a dad.

Today I want to reintroduce myself, as a candidate for New Castle County Council’s Third District!

Throughout my career, I’ve had one guiding principle – to try and make my community a better place to live. That principle guides this campaign and will guide my term in office when we win this Fall.

In order to win I’ll need your help, but together we can stand up for working-class residents in Hockessin, Yorklyn, Pike Creek, North Star, Newark and across New Castle County.

Delaware’s statewide primary is the latest in the country, and we’ve got a long road to September 15th.

I promise to keep you updated on our progress, important issues facing the community, and how we’ll meet New Castle County’s challenges.

But before I go on, I have to ask – Can you contribute to our campaign today?

We’re fighting against special interests with deep pockets, and every dollar counts.

We launched this campaign eight weeks ago, and the response has been outstanding!

We haven’t just been knocking doors and talking about how I plan to make New Castle County a better place to live, work and play – we’ve been setting the example.

That’s why we organized volunteers to help plant over 400 trees in the Red Clay Creek floodplain following our campaign launch event, and why we’ll continue making volunteer service a part of our campaign throughout the Spring and Summer.

As the weather warms up, we’re out joining our district’s residents at events throughout the community.

I volunteered at the Hindu Temple of Delaware to help with their inaugural Bengali New Year celebration and joined Dew Point Brewing Company to celebrate the return of live music to their outdoor space for the first Spring in years.

As New Castle County Council evaluates the FY27 Budget Proposal and grapples with the proposed 17.2% increase in property taxes to help close the county’s budget deficit, I’m also attending hearings so I’m ready to lead on Day One in office.

This campaign will be successful because it’s built to put people over profits, and committed to bringing the same ethical principles I upheld as a journalist to public office.
